Apple Cider Squeeze

Last Sunday after morning services the Newberry's hosted many of us for a very event-filled afternoon. Besides a great bar-b-que and cider pressing: we took 20 of the younger set and picked apples for making the cider and Jim Newberry ran out of gas on the way; Youth were introduced to Rugby; Young and old played with the kittens; Many new folks were there and we got acquainted-- the potluck was great...it was quite a social. Thank you Jim and Vickie!

Lead Kids to Pray

Help our kids know how to pray and gain a great civic education by clicking on the "Lead Kids to Pray" Here is an excerpt from the Presidential Prayer Team for Kids page. This page is updated weekly. And yes, there is an adult page as well...www.presidentialprayerteam.org

"President Bush is still really concerned with everything that still needs to happen in the Gulf Coast region. Pray for the President as he works with his team to bring help to everyone who really needs it. Pray for churches, schools and government buildings to be restored quickly.

Pray for everyone in our country to grow strong in developing godly character that pleases God and helps our towns, cities and nation to be better and stronger.

Pray that the violence will be minimal and that our troops will be protected by God as they keep on working to help the Iraqi and Afghan people."
