Kids are learning about how they are children of the True King. That was a line from C. S. Lewis' Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe that the kids examined in this last month's Workshops Sunday mornings. You can be a part of discipling kids, contact Pastor Andy.

Men's Breakfast 6AM every Thursday

Pastor Paul is presently sharing with the men how to know God's will--always!
1. Surrender: prepare yourself to know His will by hungering for it!
Ps 27.8 says, When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, O LORD, I shall seek
Romans 12:1 present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
2. Understand Scripture, get revelation! Know what the Bible says is God's objective will for all people before seeking His subjective will on specific things that might be in a gray area.
1Ti 2:3-4 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1Th 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
3. Be led of the Spirit!
Rom 8:6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
Gal 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

Ladies Retreat

"Passion for the Race" is the theme of this year's Ladies Retreat January 20-21. Sally Bramstedt a former member of the Olympic Women's Crew Team in Sydney, Australia is the speaker. The event is being held at the Icicle Inn in Leavenworth. Registration is $30. contact Sondra McDevitt at 509 548-5068. Opening Session is at 7PM Friday night and Saturday's events run from 9-5 including a luncheon.

Mollie Mott

Mollie Renee Mott arrived this January 9 at 9:32 AM. weighing in at 4lbs. 12 ozs. and 17" long to Rick and Megan Mott. Congratulations! 

Kids have Narnian Workshops

Beginning Sunday, January 8 Kid Krazy Workshops go to Narnia to explore the wonderful novel by C.S. Lewis, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". There will be tea with Mr. Tumnus, drama with Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, games that help kids see the gospel parallels and art that recognizes kids as a "Child of the True King".
